Working from the heart of ACT
After you have done an ACT training, your ACT training really starts.
If you only rely on the techniques you have learned, you will regularly get stuck with your clients. Before you know it, you let go of ACT and fall back on 'how you always did it'.
Suppose your emotional reactions to the client, being stuck, silence, body language, timing, and other process issues would all provide valuable information. Attention to these would allow you to learn to notice patterns you can use to work with from an ACT perspective. What would it be like to work with ACT in such an experiential way?
In the interactive Webinar 'The Heart of ACT' you will learn from international ACT expert Robyn Walser through short presentations, live role play and experiential exercises how you can work from the heart of ACT.
Robyn Walser is a psychologist, PhD and expert on ACT. She is specialized in Post Traumatic Stress and Substance Abuse. Robyn is the author of The Heart of ACT, co-author of 6 other well-known ACT books, co-director of The Bay Area Trauma Recovery Center, and associate of The National Center for PTSD in the United States of America.

Testimonials
“Training from an ACT giantess! The training was well organized, easy to keep paying attention to Robyn's story and the role plays. I'm inspired, I've learned a lot and I'm a bit further on my own ACT path” Jennifer Wetsteijn - Positive Psychologist, Coach.
"Good, immediately usable from Robyn Walser, both in knowledge and reflected in the role plays. We, Fenno and Mieke, immediately implemented what we learned the next day in all of our sessions with immediate results. A very pleasant workshop about the core of her book The Heart of ACT. Many praise and thanks Robyn Walser and Jan Steunenberg for the organization!" Mieke de Wit - Relationship therapist, Coach.
“The webinar by Robyn Walser about The heart of ACT was very nice to follow. It's a great way to see Robyn at work and learn as a therapist. Every therapist should do this more often” Sascha Rasquin - GZ Psychologist.
“Robyn Walser knows how to take you to the core of ACT work: beyond the interventions and exercises, to what happened between you and your client in the session to use the ACT processes to create resilience and to generate movement in valuable directions by clients. She makes therapy exciting because something is at stake: change or not (yet)? Definitely recommended for anyone who works with ACT” Paul Korsten - Psychotherapist.
“I really got a sense of what ACT can be by seeing Robyn. Books only go so far” Mundy van Dalen - Basic Psychologist.
"Working with Robyn Walser is a blessing for the mind and a professional hot shower. Learned a lot and the next day I was able to immediately apply her tips and example in working attitude. Jan Steunenberg is the perfect host, completely in line with what ACT stands for: open, confidential and truthful. Compliment!" Fenno Meijer - Psychologist, Relationship Therapist
